A connector for steel reinforcing bars comprises a female member 10 and a one male member 20. The female member has a threaded hole 11 having a threaded section 12 and a straight section formed in the threaded hole 13. The male member is connected to the female member and has a screw rod section 21, a cylindrical section 22, and a connecting section 23. The cylindrical section corresponds to and is mounted in the straight section, and has a diameter smaller than the diameter of the screw rod section. The female member may have an external surface with multiple uneven flanges. Also claimed is a connector having a female member open on two sides for connection with a pair of male members. |
