PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber stopper capable of setting a spring constant corresponding to each of the loads to a desired value and setting a spring characteristic in response to various kinds of requirements.SOLUTION: A rubber segment 5 is held by a holding metal fitting 4. Side walls 6 are positioned at both sides of the rubber segment 5. A clearance 14 is formed between an inner surface 13 of the side wall and the rubber segment 5. The clearance 14 is closed by compression of the rubber segment 5. The spring constant of the rubber segment 5 becomes small upon receiving load and until the clearance 14 is closed. After the clearance 14 is closed upon receiving the load, the spring constant of the rubber segment 5 becomes large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
