PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot forging method which can perform the lubrication of hot forging of a hard-to-work material securely, and in which the positioning of a forged material arranged above a lower die is easy.SOLUTION: In a hot forging method which performs forging by arranging a forged material between an upper die and a lower die, a fiber sheet impregnated with a liquid lubricant is arranged as a lubricating sheet on the engraved surface of the lower die, the forged material is hot-forged by the upper die and the lower die. Preferably, in the hot forging method, the fiber sheet is a ceramic fiber sheet. |
