PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a skeleton substantially equal to a conventional synchronous generator, to enlarge a rotor magnetic flux as much as possible and to simplify the structure of a field winding end portion in a biaxial excitation generator.SOLUTION: A Y axis and an X axis are defined on a radial cross section of a rotor 1, first coils 2 are disposed at upper and lower sides symmetrically to the X axis, and second coils 3 are disposed at right and left sides symmetrically to the Y axis. In a slot end portion 1a, the first coils 2 are connected over the Y axis and the second coils 3 are connected over the X axis so as to form substantially U-shaped portions 2a, 3a therein, respectively. |
