PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition control device and an ignition control method, capable of stabilizing ignition timing.SOLUTION: An ignition control device (100) in which a voltage to be supplied to an ignition plug disposed in an internal combustion engine, is generated in an ignition coil on the basis of a pulse signal induced in the ignition coil accompanying rotation of the internal combustion engine, includes: a switch element (160) for energizing the ignition coil; and a control portion (140) setting a timing for controlling energization of the ignition coil while referring to the pulse signal, and controlling the switch element according to the timing. |
