[Classes 96 and 140] A suspension of 60 to 98 per cent glass fibres, e.g. oflow-alkali, borosilicate glass and 0.020 ins. long and 0.00002 to 0.0003 ins, diameter, with 40 to 2 per cent of cellulose fibres, e.g. of kraft, is formed by paper-making methods into absorbent electrical insulating paper, the dried sheet being impregnated with a polyvinyl carbazole synthetic resin. Two sheets may be pressed together at 4000 lbs. per sq. in. and at 195‹ to 204‹ C. Specification 363,191 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 refers to silicone compositions as disclosed in Specifications 542,655 and 548,911, [both in Group IV], for impregnating the paper. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.</p> |
