PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of bonding using a water-soluble paste by which a series of tasks of application, drying and ultrasonic bonding of the water-soluble paste is efficiently conducted in ultrasonically bonding a saw blade made of ordinary paper to a carton with the water-soluble paste instead of a saw blade of resin-impregnated paper from the viewpoint of cost reduction, and its bonding structure. SOLUTION: In bonding saw blade made of ordinary paper 3-1 to a carton made of ordinary paper 2-1 with water-soluble paste 4, water-soluble paste 4 is applied in spots by spray to bonding area A of the saw blade. After the spottily applied paste gets dry, bonding area A of the saw blade and bonding area B of the carton are placed face to face. While maintaining this position, pressure is applied to the saw blade and the carton in their thickness direction and simultaneously ultrasonic waves or high frequency electric waves are applied to the saw blade, the carton and the dried paste existing between the saw blade and the carton to bond the saw blade and the carton.
