PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operation control device of a machine tool for, even when relocation detection results in erroneous determination, preventing a machining operation from being hindered due to the sudden stop of the operation of machinery.SOLUTION: The operation control device of a machine tool includes: a relocation detection part 3 for, when predetermined relocation conditions under which it is recognized that a machine tool 10 has been relocated are satisfied, detecting this; a warning generation part 4 for warning an operator that it is detected that the predetermined relocation conditions are satisfied by the relocation detection part 3, or that any abnormality is generated in the relocation detection part 3; and an operation restriction part 5 for, when predetermined operation restriction conditions are satisfied with a predetermined operation having being performed by an operator or machinery as a start point after the generation of a warning by the warning generation part, restricting the operation of machinery. |
