An object is to provide a head guard structure for a forklift that prevents a driver from getting wet directly from rain, whereby it is possible to directly check tips of forks when the forks carrying a load reach the top position. A head guard structure for a forklift includes a pair of right and left front pillars 51 mounted to a front of a vehicle body 21, a pair of right and left rear pillars 52 mounted to a rear of the vehicle body 21, a pair of right and left vertical frames 55 connecting upper ends of the front pillars 51 and the rear pillars 52, a front lateral frame 54 connecting the upper ends of the pair of right and left front pillars 51, a top board 56 disposed over the pair of right and left vertical frames 55 and including a front edge disposed at a center of the vertical frames 55 in a front-rear direction and a front flange surface 56b bended downward, and a plurality of bar members 57 fixed to the front lateral frame 54 and the front flange surface 56b and arranged at intervals in the vehicle width direction. |
