A downshift method of an automatic transmission causes an increase in the RPM of an engine by increasing engine torque more than applied X% APS, and completes a speed change after the RPM of the engine and the RPM of a turbine are reversed only in a temporary neutral state in a speed change area instead of an IN-GEAR state, thereby realizing smooth acceleration. Moreover, the present invention prevents TIP-IN shock, which is the alternative shock of the engine RPM and the turbine RPM, is applied to acceleration while downshifting regardless of the number of transmission elements, and is applied to an automatic transmission and a double clutch transmission (DCT). |
