PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of improving decorativeness without providing a new light source.SOLUTION: A luminaire comprises: a body of the luminaire; a light source for illumination, which is arranged at a lower surface of the body of the luminaire and illuminates mainly the lower surface; a translucent cover covering the light source for illumination; and a decorative frame covering at least an upper surface side peripheral part of the translucent cover and having a part positioned at an outer side than the side surface of the body of the luminaire. The decorative frame comprises: a light incidence part which covers the upper surface peripheral part and on which light emitted from the light source for illumination and passed through the translucent cover is made incident; a light guide part for guiding the light from the light incidence part; a light emitting part having an emission surface for emitting the light guided by the light guiding part to the lower surface side; and a direction conversion part for guiding the light from the light guide part to the light emitting part. The decorative frame has nearly the same thickness from the light incident part to the direction conversion part and the thickness becomes gradually greater from the direction conversion part toward the light emission surface of the light emitting part. |
