The present invention relates to a chute (1) to be located at the discharge end (6) of a conveyor belt (2) carrying on its upper surface a material (10) wherein said chute (1) having a flow baffle (4) is located on the inner wall (15) of the interior of the chute (1), said wall located facing the discharge end (6) of the conveyor belt (2) which prevents the 5 material (10) from being stuck within a chute (1) and which adjusts o molds the flow of material (10) in a way said material is softly dropped from the chute (1), wherein the flow baffle (4) is formed by a plurality of plates (7, 8, 9) which are connected to each other in a pivotable way, wherein each back face (14) of each one of said plates (7, 8, 9) is supported on an inner wall (15) of the interior of the chute (1), said wall being positioned facing the 10 discharge end (6) of the conveyor belt (2) by means of at least two linear actuators (5) which move by getting closer or away from the discharge end (6) of the conveyor belt (2) by means of a linear movement (17). The invention also relates to a system and method for automatically operating said chute. |
