The invention provides a novel filtration system that can be referred to as Pneumatic Alternating Cell Separator (PACS), useful components thereof in the form of assemblies or kits of parts that can be used to build the system, and use of the system for filtering fluids, for instance in cell culture perfusion systems comprising a filter containing chamber (8), an expansion chamber (17) and a gas flow controller (28). |
