PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for a vehicle, which supplies electric power to external equipment appropriate for a condition of the vehicle comprising a generator and an on-vehicle battery.SOLUTION: A measuring instrument A for a vehicle includes: a power supply circuit 7 for supplying electric power to external equipment D on the basis of the supply of the electric power from a generator E and an on-vehicle battery B, mounted on the vehicle; a voltage detection circuit (detection means) 6 for detecting an operating condition of the generator E; and control means 5 for switching a condition of the supply of the electric power to the external equipment D from the power supply circuit 7 on the basis of a detection signal from the voltage detection circuit 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
