A marine boiler (1) is provided, which includes a burner (3), a VOC gas supply portion (60) which supplies VOC gas into a furnace (2), a control device (50) which adjusts an amount of a fuel for combustion applied to the burner (3) and an amount of combustion air supplied to the burner (3) and control an operation to be within a predetermined load range, in which the control device (50) includes a limited operation mode in which an operation is performed within a limited load range so that VOC gas, which flows from the volatile gas supply portion (60) into the furnace (2) and is introduced into a flue gas outlet (8), is maintained at a predetermined temperature or more, and stays in the furnace (2) for a predetermined time or more. |
