摘要 Disclosed is a method for cold-forging a shaft for an overrunning alternator decoupler. A method for cold-forging a shaft for an overrunning alternator decoupler according to the present invention includes: a first forming step of taking out and cutting a coil to be formed into a shaft, which is assembled as an internal compartment of an alternator installed in a vehicle, at a predetermined length and offset-processing the top and the underside of a body by moving a punch in the upper side and the lower side of the body while a cut coil body is positioned in a closed mold; a second forming step of primarily forward extrusion forging the top and the underside of the body for preliminary forming an extension unit extended outward from the underside of the body and a heat unit formed in the top of the body; a third forming step of offset-forming for preliminary forming a first groove unit at the center of a top surface of the head unit; a fourth step of secondarily forward extrusion forging the head unit; and a fifth forming step of processing the inner circumference of the first groove unit into either a polygonal form or a serration form and forging a protrusion unit protruding outward from some part of the second groove unit to be formed in the underside of the head unit. The second forming step includes a head unit forming step of processing a corner portion where the head unit and the extension unit meet at a second inclined angle (α2) and at a second curvature (Ra2) and an extension forming step of extending the body at a predetermined length in a longitudinal direction and processing an insertion hole with a first inner diameter in the center of the body. The first to fifth forming steps are performed by cold-forging. The present invention is to provide the method for cold-forging the shaft for the overrunning alternator decoupler capable of minimizing damage to the closed mold caused by cold-forging and the deformation of materials.
