PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article inspection device that performs human body communication with an operator with high operability and allows the operator to confirm an operation result immediately.SOLUTION: An article inspection device 1 includes: a metal enclosure 11, on an operation surface 12 of which an opening part 13 is formed; a sheet 15 on which position conformation parts 16a, 16b corresponding to the opening part 13 are formed and which is provided at the front side of the operation surface 12; and a reception antenna 6 and a display operation panel 5 provided within the enclosure. The reception antenna 6 is provided at the rear side of the first position confirmation part 16b of the sheet 15, and the display operation panel 5 is provided at the rear side of the second position confirmation part 16a of the sheet 15. The operation surface 12 is a simple flat surface, difficult for foreign objects to attach, and hygienic. Authentication communication is only allowed if an operator touches a particular place by one-touch operation, and the operator can visibly confirm an operation result immediately on the display operation panel 5 with the same operation surface. |
