The device has magazine (4) for storing the label stacks (5). An isolating device (6) is provided to isolate the labels (1) e.g. punched or cut flat labels from the label stacks. A partial erecting device (7) is provided to partial erect the labels. A pushing device is provided to push the labels from center distance of the magazine to center distance of the mold (10) or forming/punching tool. An erecting device is provided to erect the finished labels. A transfer unit (8) is provided to transfer the labeled molded articles on the mold or forming/punching tool. An independent claim is included for a method for operating the device for decoration of labeled molded articles.
