The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition which activates LEA protein known for a function of protecting cells from damage due to external environmental stress, thereby enhancing resistance to environmental stress including ultraviolet light, fine dust, yellow dust, cigarette smoke, and exhaust gas, and thus protecting skin cells therefrom. To this end, the cosmetic composition contains a Myrothamnus flabellifolia extract. |
