Provided are a method and terminal for moving a screen interface, the method comprising: detecting a pressure applied on at least one side of the terminal to obtain a first pressure distribution characteristic; comparing the first pressure distribution characteristic to a pressure distribution characteristic within a pre-generated set to obtain a second pressure distribution characteristic matching the first pressure distribution characteristic; determining a moving direction corresponding to the second pressure distribution characteristic based on the corresponding relationship between the preset pressure distribution characteristic and the moving direction; moving the screen interface in the determined direction by a preset distance. The present invention provides a screen interface moving method and terminal for moving a screen interface by a preset distance by detecting the pressure applied to the terminal by one hand of a user.
