PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular display device capable of informing a driver easily that a fuel consumption can be improved by a gear change according to the display and promoting the driver an excellent fuel consumption drive while realizing a vehicle operation such as a vehicle speed while meeting the demand of the driver.SOLUTION: A vehicular display device having a transmission capable of being manually operated to transmit a drive power from a drive power source to a drive shaft, comprises: running state detecting means for detecting the running state of the vehicle; present gear stage decision means for detecting the present gear stage being used in the transmission; recommended gear stage decision means for determining the recommended gear stage of an excellent fuel consumption on the basis of the running state detected by the running state detecting means; and fuel consumption map display means for calculating the present gear stage and the fuel consumption state of the recommended gear stage on the basis of the running state detected by the running state detecting means, thereby to display the fuel consumption states of the present gear stage and the recommended gear stage in the display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
