PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous body having excellent air infiltration property, high lyophilic property when used as a separator for capacitor and capable of manufacturing under high productivity and comprising ethylene vinyl alcohol-based polymer, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided a porous body having at least one porous layer consisting of a resin composition mainly containing an ethylene vinyl alcohol-based copolymer (A) and containing 1 mass% to 50 mass% inclusive of a thermoplastic elastomer having weight average molecular weight Mw of 150,000 or more (B) and the porous layer is a layer made porous by drawing in at least one uniaxial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
