Disclosed are a device and a method for testing impedance characteristic and expansion performance of a sound absorption material, belonging to the technical field of material performance detection. The device comprises: a first cavity (10) and a second cavity (20) which are both sealed, wherein the first cavity (10) is in communication with the second cavity (20) through a slit channel (30), and the second cavity (20) is used for placing a sound absorption material (40) therein; a sound excitation source (50), a sounding face of the sound excitation source (50) being positioned in the first cavity (10); two pickup sensors (60, 62), the two pickup sensors (60, 62) being respectively arranged in the first cavity (10) and the second cavity (20), and being respectively used to detect sound pressures in the first cavity (10) and the second cavity (20); and materials for enclosing the first cavity (10) and the second cavity (20) are sound insulation materials. According to the device, the technical problem that choosing the sound absorption material is difficult in the prior art is solved, performance test on the sound absorption material is realized, a technical index is provided for the selection of the sound absorption material, and the production costs of an acoustic product are reduced. |
