PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing with a magnetic fluid seal that has high sealing performance, can reduce torque, and has excellent assembly workability, and a fishing reel in which the bearing with the magnetic fluid seal is arranged.SOLUTION: In a bearing 1 with a magnetic fluid seal according to the present invention, holding plates 22 and 23 are positioned and fixed to an outer ring 3b so as to create a clearance G on the side of an inner ring 3a. Magnetic fluids 25a and 25b are held in the clearance G and a minute clearance G' created on the fixed side of the holding plates 22 and 23 respectively. A flow passage 90 that allows the magnetic fluid packed in the clearance G to move from the side of the clearance G to the side of the minute clearance G' is formed in an attachment region of the holding plates 22 and 23 and a magnet 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
