Adapter apparatus (8) for connecting a rechargeable battery (9) to a power tool (1), containing a latching device (17) for latching the adapter apparatus (8) together with the power tool (1); and a locking device (18) for locking the latching device (17). The latching device (17) is adjustable reversibly from a first position into a second position, wherein, in the first position, the adapter apparatus (8) is firmly connected to the power tool (1) and, in the second position, the adapter apparatus (8) is detachable from the power tool (1), and the locking device (18) is adjustable reversibly from a first position into a second position, wherein, in the first position, the locking device (18) locks the latching device (17) in the first position and, in the second position, the locking device does not lock the latching device (17) and so the latching device (17) is movable from the first position into the second position. |
