PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo type compressor that can restrain thrust hydrodynamic bearings from increasing in size.SOLUTION: A turbo type compressor 10 comprises impellers 14 and 15 connected to a tip part 12b of a rotating shaft 12, and an electric motor 13 that rotates the rotating shaft 12, and compresses fluid with the rotation of the impellers 14 and 15 to discharge it to discharge chambers 32 and 42. The turbo type compressor 10 comprises thrust hydrodynamic bearings 81 and 82 that receive a thrust force F generated by the rotation of the impellers 14 and 15, and also comprises a housing 11 in which the discharge chambers 32 and 42 and a thrust chamber 90 housing the thrust hydrodynamic bearings 81 and 82 are defined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
