PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of differential gear and make its light weight formation and enable an accuracy of a single differential mechanism to be assured by eliminating a large-sized case covering the differential mechanism or a usual differential gear case.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a differential gear comprising a cross-shaped shaft body SH integrally having the first and the second shafts SH1, SH2 crossing at a right angle to each other and integrally rotated with an input member 1 around an axial line of the second shaft SH2, a pinion P pivotally supported at the first shaft SH1, and a pair of side gears S engaged with the pinion P, the side gear S is formed with a small diameter hole 6i for passing and supporting the second shaft SH2 and a large diameter hole 6o communicated with an outer end of the small diameter hole 6i through a step surface 6s, a fixing member T connected to both ends 31, 32 of the second shaft SH2 so as to prevent removal of the side gear S from the second shaft SH2 is stored in the large diameter hole 6o, and an output shaft A is fitted in a non-relative rotatable manner to the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter hole 6o at more outside part in an axial direction than the fixing member T.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
