PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire capable of heating a lesion.SOLUTION: A guide wire with a heater 14 at its tip part, heats a lesion by causing the heater 14 to generate heat at a prescribed temperature. A temperature detection element 17 for detecting the temperature in the vicinity of the heater 14 may be provided. This guide wire 10 has temperature and heating time of the heater 14 controlled by a controller 22. Following to the cautery by the heater 14 of the guide wire 10, treatment by a catheter 8 can be performed. For example, a medical agent can be injected from the inserted catheter 8 into the lesion. Thereby, effective and minimally invasive treatment can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
