PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device comprising a stroke simulator, which can achieve a good braking-operation feeling for a long time.SOLUTION: A stroke simulator 3 comprises a simulator spring 33 that generates reaction force from an initial position of a brake pedal 1 and a damper spring 34 that generates reaction force after the brake pedal 1 is stepped in at a predetermined stroke. The damper spring 34 is formed, in a circular cylinder shape, of rubber, rotatably supported and compressed ia a radial direction by operation force inputted to the brake pedal 1. If a site of the damper 34 compressed in the radial direction settles and then a part thereof in a circumference direction is plastically deformed, a gravity center position of the damper is changed so as to rotate the damper, so that a site thereof which does not settle is newly compressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
