PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ceramic pots 10, 20 capable of producing a pressure cooking effect, superior in durability and air-tightness, and having good appearance.SOLUTION: After putting food material in an earthen pot body 11, a pot lid 12 is placed on a pot lid receiving ledge 11b of the earthen pot body 11 while avoiding an engaged protrusion 12b of the pot lid 12 from touching an engaging protrusion 11c of the earthen pot body 11, and thereafter, the pot lid 12 is rotated in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. While rotating the pot lid 12, one inclined surface of a mountain-shaped engaged surface 12c of the engaged protrusion 12b is pressed against a gentle crown part of an engaging surface 11e of the engaging protrusion 11c, and the engaging protrusion 11c and the engaged protrusion 12b are engaged. By this, a sealing member 13 fixed on the rear surface of a mounting part 12a of the pot lid 12 is brought into press-contact with the pot lid receiving ledge 11b, and therewith, the engaging protrusion 11c is brought into press-contact with the engaged protrusion 12b by elastic force of the sealing member 13. This allows the pot lid 12 to be fixed to the earthen pot body 11, and an upper end opening 11a of the earthen pot body 11 is sealed with the sealing member 13 of the pot lid 12. |
