The present invention provides a flexible inductor formed by arranging via holes in a zigzag manner to have a narrow space (pitch) between the via holes in a limited space, to have a small size and light weight, thus obtaining excellent characteristics, and a manufacturing method thereof. The flexible inductor comprises: a flexible core film; an upper flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) attached to and installed on an upper surface of the core film and having upper patterns in which linear patterns are arranged to be parallel to each other at a predetermined interval on a surface thereof; a lower FPCB attached to and installed on a lower surface of the core film positioned to oppose the upper FPCB and having lower patterns in which linear patterns are arranged to be parallel to each other at a predetermined interval on a surface thereof; via holes formed at both end portions of the upper patterns and both end portions of the lower patterns such that the both end portions of the upper patterns of the upper FPCB and the both end portions of the lower patterns of the lower FPCB are connected to each other, and having a conductive layer formed therein to electrically connect the upper patterns and the lower patterns to form a coil, wherein the via holes are arranged in the zigzag manner to have a narrow pitch between the adjacent via holes to narrow a space between the upper patterns and the lower patterns to increase the number of coils. |
