摘要 The present invention relates to a device to automatically measuring a tree girth and a tree management system capable of efficiently manage trees grown by being dispersed in an extensive area using a measurement device. The device of the present invention comprises: a girth measurement unit which detects an increase and decrease of the tree girth as an angle value; a calculation means which calculates the tree girth by a predetermined algorithm by receiving the angle value from the girth measurement unit, outputting the calculated tree girth value; a storage means which stores the calculated tree girth value of the calculation means; and a transmission means which transmits the calculated tree girth value of the calculation means to the outside. The girth measurement unit outputs an angle value in accordance with a girth size of the tree by comprising: a reel which has a magnet attached to one side; a pulling means which rotates the reel in a forward direction if the tree girth increases as one end is wound on the reel and an other end surrounds the tree girth; a rewinding spring which applies elasticity to rotate the reel in a reverse direction; and an angle sensor which senses a rotational angle of the magnet. According to the present invention, the tree girth automatic measurement device has the effects of measuring the tree girth based on a mechanical composition, and using a battery for a long time by only being waken up during the measurement after a sleep mode; and reducing manufacturing costs by being formed in a simple structure.
