<p>A golf bag/umbrella accessory comprising two similar clip assemblies 1,2 which include means for their attachment side by side in spaced apart relationship to a curved upper collar portion 3 of a golf bag 4, each clip assembly comprising a clasp 6 having spring prongs arranged in use releaseably to embrace the shaft 11 of a golf umbrella, a base plate 9 mountable on a curved outer surface of the said collar portion, the clip assemblies being arranged to include angled or chamfered portions 10 which serve to support the clasp at an angle to compensate at least partly for curvature of the collar portion whereby the clasp spring prongs of the two clip assemblies are suitably positioned mutually to retain the shaft.</p> |
