PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stud that has a large edge effect to have satisfactory braking and driving performance, improves stud fall resisting performance, can increase strength of a pin part to suppress damage to the pin part, and has high durability of the pin part, and a studdable tire.SOLUTION: A stud 1 according to the present invention comprises: a columnar body part 2; a pin part 3 provided at one end in a direction along a center axis of the body part; and a flange part 4 provided at the other end in a direction along the center axis of the body part, and is so constituted that an outer peripheral surface 4F of the flange part 4 is formed in a shape of reducing the diameter after increasing the diameter from one end side to the other end side in a direction along the center axis 1C, and a maximum outer peripheral diameter position 4M of an outer peripheral part of the flange part is positioned more on the side of the other end face 4E of the flange part than a position which is 1/2 of a dimension in a flange part thickness direction along the center axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
