摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric material that can be enhanced in piezoelectric performance and load bearing performance, a manufacturing method for the same, a contact detection device, a load detection device and an abnormality state detection device.SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric material 1, plural piezoelectric particles 2 are arranged in a predetermined direction in a base material 3, and when a load acts in the predetermined direction, power is generated. The piezoelectric material 1 is a projection orientation type composite piezoelectric material in which the piezoelectric particles 2 are arranged in the base material 3 so as to project from the base material surface 3a. In the piezoelectric material 1, the piezoelectric particles 2 on which the load acts project from the base material surface 3a, and a part of the particle surface 2a of each piezoelectric particle 2 projecting from the base material surface 3a is held by the base material 3. Therefore, the load is made to act on the piezoelectric particles 2 projecting from the base material surface 3a, and the load is made to intensively act on the plural piezoelectric particles 2 arranged in the base material 3, whereby the base material 3 is enabled to enhance the piezoelectric performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
