PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat expandable microcapsule excellent in gas barrier property, having excellent durability at a high temperature over long time and hardly generating coloration when used for foaming molding and a stampable sheet molded article using the heat expandable microcapsule .SOLUTION: There is provided a heat expandable microcapsule where a volatile expansion agent as a core agent is included in a shell consisting of a polymer, the shell is obtained by polymerizing a monomer having a nitrile-based monomer, an amide group and a monomer composition containing a compound having a glycidyl group in a molecule, the monomer having the amide group contains one of acrylamide and methacrylamide, the monomer having the glycidyl group in the molecule contains at least one kind of glycidyl methacrylate and a 2 to 5 functional epoxy compound and the monomer composition contains the monomer having the amide group of 0.1 to 7 wt.% and the compound containing the glycidyl group of 0.1 to 5 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
