PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can simplify a configuration for performing electricity elimination before transfer and electricity elimination after transfer, and a light guide member used for the same.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 includes a long-length light guide member 14 having a transmission and reflection part 147 that transmits and reflects light from a light source 141 made incident at one end in the longitudinal direction and guided to the other end, and irradiates, with the light, a position between a developing roller 131 and a transfer roller 15 in a photoreceptor drum 11 on the downstream side in the direction of travel of a transfer target member 5 and a position between the transfer roller 15 and a cleaning part 161 in a photoreceptor drum 11 on the upstream side in the direction of travel of the transfer target member 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
