PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which prevents movement of a head bracket during printing while securing adhesion between a thermal head and a platen roller when an openable cover part is closed.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a platen roller 10 provided at an openable cover part 3; a head bracket 27 which is provided in a swingable state so as to hold and release the openable cover part 3 and holds the thermal head 25; and a cover open button Bp which presses the head bracket 27 and releases the holding state of the openable cover part 3. A space is formed between the cover open button Bp and the head bracket 27 by a biasing force of a resin spring part 35c. The cover open button Bp is pressed to the head bracket 27 against the biasing force during operation. When the openable cover part 3 is opened, the head bracket 27 swings to be positioned closer to the platen roller 10 side than when the openable cover part 3 is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
