PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing technology that makes processing time for arithmetic units uniform in consideration of a difference in throughput between the arithmetic units.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus using a plurality of arithmetic units to perform image processing in parallel includes: a calculation part that causes the arithmetic units to perform arithmetic processing that is a part of image processing to calculate a processing time required for the arithmetic processing; a division size determination part that determines the division size of image data so that the processing time for the arithmetic units are made uniform according to the calculated processing time; an image reconstruction processing part that causes the arithmetic units to process the image data that has been divided with the division size and performs image reconstruction processing on the processed image data; and an image output part that outputs the image data subjected to the image reconstruction processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
