The invention relates to a process for making composite polymeric membranes for electrochemical systems intended to produce electric energy. According to the invention, the process consists in the synthesis of sulphonated polyphenylene oxide membranes having a sulphonation degree of 75%, in which tetraethyl orthosilicate has been introduced, after which the hybrid membranes are subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature of 60, 90 and 120°C, to result in composite polymeric membranes with a proton conductivity of 35 mS/cm. |
