The present invention relates to a method and a tool for stamping a sheet material. According to the invention, the method comprises shaping a sheet (2) with a constant thickness by stamping and, at the stamping end position, forming a coupling with a small radius on an outer surface of the sheet by applying locally, to the inner surface of the sheet (2), a force which restricts the material of the stamped sheet to being clamped on the outside. |
