The invention relates to a method for cleaning surfaces having residues of oil and grease, wherein compressed air and a liquid such as the following are used for cleaning: surfactants or neutral, alkaline or acidic surfactant mixtures, fatty acid esters comprising carbon chain lengths of the base carboxylic acids and alcohols of between C1 and C22 and mixtures thereof, such as for example rape methyl ester (with additives this also being used as bio-diesel), or aliphatic alkanes with an unbranched and/or branched and/or cyclic configuration having carbon chain lengths of between C5 and C22 and mixtures thereof, for example paraffins, diesel or fuel oil. The compressed air is fed to a jet nozzle (1) which preferably has a convergent section (7) forming a narrowing (6) and an adjoining divergent section (8), and the liquid substance is metered into the compressed air flow preferably upstream of the jet nozzle (1), or in an alternative embodiment upstream, in or downstream of the narrowing (6) of the jet nozzle. |
