ARRANGEMENT IN A SYSTEM FOR GENERATING ELECTRIC POWER WITH HYDRAULIC TURBINES ON BOATS, AND SYSTEM OPERATING METHOD

The present invention relates to an arrangement in a system for generating electric power with hydraulic turbines on boats, the system including hydraulic turbines arranged in the lower part of the boat hull, mechanical coupling elements (18,19,21) and an electric power generator (20). The system of the present invention further comprises whirlpool layers (1) arranged over the hydraulic turbines and, alternatively, water ducts (2) in the boat hull below the whirlpool layer (1). The inventive arrangement also makes it possible, at low speed and in the presence of waves, to turn the hydraulic turbines and consequently to generate electricity. The invention also relates to a method for operating the system.
