Provided are a gear with which vibration at the tooth surfaces may be damped to minimize the generation of abnormal noise and ensure smooth rotating motion of the gear during meshing of the gear, while also reducing weight; and an electric actuator provided with the same. In an electric actuator provided with a speed reduction mechanism 6 for transmitting the rotational force of an electric motor M, and a ball screw mechanism 8 for translating rotating motion of the electric motor M to linear motion of a drive shaft 7 through the agency thereof, an output gear 5 is sandwiched by an inner race 23 of a support bearing 20 and a flanged portion 18c of a nut 18 and is fastened to the outside peripheral surface of the nut 18 in this state, a thin center part 33 is formed between an outer diameter part 31 and a boss part 32, rectangular lightening holes 34 having an expanding width dimension towards the outside in the diametrical direction are formed in equally distributed fashion in the circumferential direction in this center part 33, and vibration-absorbing materials 35 passing through the lightening holes 34 and comprising synthetic rubber at both side surfaces of the center part 33 are integrally joined through vulcanization at locations further to the outside peripheral side, with respect the outside diameter of the support bearing 20. |
