PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing apparatus which is capable of detecting a synchronization signal also from an abnormal waveform in a biological signal and reliably detects a synchronization signal also from a biological signal having noise superimposed thereon.SOLUTION: A signal processing apparatus 1 comprises: a generator which generates detection parameters for detecting a specific waveform in a biological signal related to heartbeats, on the basis of the waveform of the biological signal; a storage unit for storing two or more of the generated detection parameters; and a detector which detects the specific waveform by using the stored two or more detection parameters and generates a synchronization signal for performing imaging synchronized with heartbeats.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
