PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved process of pigment incorporation or encapsulation in preparing colored polyester latex via phase inversion emulsification in making a color toner.SOLUTION: A process of making a colored resin particles comprises: (a) dissolving a pigment and a polyester resin in an organic solvent; and (b) performing phase inversion emulsification of the solution to produce an emulsion containing colored resin particles so as to use the emulsion for making a color toner.SELECTED DRAWING: None
