<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trabecular bone analyzing apparatus for accurately determining the quantity of a state of a trabecular bone. <P>SOLUTION: According to a conventional apparatus, an analysis of a trabecular bone is performed by using a transmission image acquired by plain radiography. An accurate result is not always obtained by this kind of analysis since the trabecular bones are overlapped with each other and are pictured in the transmission image in a blurry state. According to the invention, the analysis of the trabecular bone is performed on a tomographic image D. Since the cancellous trabecular bones are clearly pictured in the tomographic image D without overlapping each other, the quantitative determination of the trabecular bone by the analysis of the trabecular bone becomes more accurate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
