PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method in which a product with a skin in which the skin adheres to a substrate and an appearance quality is excellent can be simply produced.SOLUTION: A product with a skin 10 that becomes an application object of a production method includes: a substrate 11; a skin 15 that is disposed on the substrate 11; and a stitch line 25 that comprises two or more seams 26 that are aligned along a surface 15A of the skin 15 to become linear. When producing the product with a skin 10, a compact formation process and a stitch line formation process are performed. In the compact formation process, the skin 15 is integrated in a condition to be adhered to the substrate 11 to thereby form a compact 20. In the stitch line formation process, after the compact formation process, while a thread 27 is made to be along the surface 15A of the skin 15, the thread 27 is embedded in a deeper place than the surface 15A of the skin 15 in places that mutually alienate in the compact 20 to be fixed in the compact 20, thereby a stitch line 25 is formed. |
