The invention provides a method of producing an antifouling sign assembly for mounting on a structure to be deployed subsea. The method comprises providing a substrate comprising indicia or markings, a layer of silicone-based transparent antifouling material having a minimum thickness of 1 mm, and joining the substrate and the layer such that the indicia or markings of the substrate are visible through the layer. The method also comprises fixing an attachment means to the substrate and/or the antifouling layer, the attachment means enabling mounting of the antifouling sign assembly to the structure. |
