摘要 This engine control circuit (100) controls the engine of a two-wheeled vehicle that can be started using a kick start (65). Said engine control circuit (100) is provided with the following: a voltage detection circuit (20) that detects the voltage across a capacitor (C); a control unit (50) that, on the basis of the capacitor (C) voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit (20), controls supply to a cell motor (46) and the supply, to the capacitor (C), of electrical power generated by a generator (41); and a load control circuit (30) that controls electrical power supplied to a load (31). If the voltage across the capacitor (C) is less than a startup-enabling voltage when an ignition switch (70) is turned on, the load control circuit (30) prohibits the supply of electrical power to the load (31) and the control unit (50) prohibits the cell motor (46) from starting the engine (60). However, if the voltage across the capacitor (C) is greater than or equal to the startup-enabling voltage when the ignition switch (70) is turned on, the control unit (50) allows the cell motor (46) to start the engine (60).
